Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday presented the National Creators Award at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. With this initiative, the government aims to celebrate and encourage creativity across the nation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
In recognition of the rapidly growing creator economy induced by social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and others, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the National Creators Award. This award acknowledges creators who excel in diverse domains such as fashion, technology, education, travel, and beyond.
The selection process for the National Creators Award involved a nomination window on its Innovate India website from 10-29 February 2024. According to the data, more than 1.5 lakh nominations and around 10 lakh votes were cast. The award is based on the number of votes cast to a creator.

The National Creators Award features twenty categories including Best Storyteller, Disruptor of the Year, Celebrity Creator of the Year, Green Champion, and more. Notable winners include Shraddha Jain (AiyyoShraddha) for Most Creative Creator-Female, RJ Raunac (Bauaa) for Most Creative Creator-Male, and Jahnvi Singh for Heritage Fashion Icon Award, Aman Gupta, founder and chief executive officer of the personal electronics brand boAT won the Celebrity Creator Award.
Other categories include Best Creator in Food, Tech, Education, and Gaming, among others. Winners in these categories include Kabita Singh, Gaurav Chaudhary, Naman Deshmukh, and Kamiya Jani respectively. Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) was recognized as the Disruptor of the Year.
Among the attendees were prominent figures from diverse sectors including technology, arts, literature, and social entrepreneurship. The award ceremony highlighted the remarkable achievements of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional creativity, innovation, and impact in their respective domains.
