Procter & Gamble India has appointed Kumar Venkatasubramanian as its new CEO, effective May 1, 2024, succeeding LV Vaidyanathan, who will be departing the company after 28 years of service.
Kumar Venkatasubramanian, an alumnus of IIM Calcutta with nearly 24 years of experience, is currently serving as the CEO of P&G’s operations in Australia and New Zealand. Venkatasubramanian has played a significant role in P&G India’s growth journey in various roles in his career. Before moving to P&G Australia as its CEO, Venkatasubramanian was leading the sales function for P&G India.
Expressing his excitement about the new role, Venkatasubramanian stated, “I am eager to return to the Indian market, understand the needs of Indian consumers better, and contribute to the organization’s momentum. P&G India has been consistently delivering results with balanced growth, and I am excited to be a part of its journey.”
