News18 Network has recently announced the appointment of Amitosh Pal as the Branch Head– Indian Languages (East) & Business Head – News18 Bangla, Odiya, and Assam. In his new role, Amitosh will oversee monetisation initiative for News18 India in the eastern markets and drive revenue growth for News18 India in this region.

With over 25 years of experience, Amitosh brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. Before joining News18, he served as the Assistant Vice President & National Head of ABP Network. He also head roles at at Zee Network, Siti Cable Network, and Tata Infomedia in the past. Outside of work, Amitosh has diverse interests including academics, negotiation studies, and traveling.

Amitosh will report to Munish Atrey, Chief Revenue Officer for, Indian Languages who will continue to report to Mitul Sangani, CEO of Indian Languages at News18 Network. The News18 Indian Languages cluster encompasses Hindi as well as regional languages.
