Goibibo, India’s leading online travel booking brand, unveils its latest campaign starring Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor in her beloved Geet avatar from Jab We Met. The ad is conceptualised by Talented Agency.

In the new commercial kareena reprised one of her most memorable characters- Geet. In the ad for Goibibo, Kareena is seen in a bright orange kurti, with a hair tied up in a pony. The actor is seen with another female friend, as they stumble upon a shady hotel, named Hotel Descent., In a classic Geet-style confrontation, Kapoor’s character questions the receptionist, delivering her famous line, “Waise yaha rehne ke liye paise lagte hei ya free ka hai? Kyuki chillar nahi he mere paas” (Do you charge money to stay here or is it for free? Because I don’t have the change)! Her friend then suggests using the Goibibo app to find a better accommodation option.

Taking to Instagram, Kareena invites her followers to complete the sentence:

“Geet is such a travel inspiration that _____ 👇”

While the ad garners attention, one fan expressed, “Omg I thought it’s her scene from ‘Jab We Met,'” while another praised Kapoor as the “Expression queen forever!”
