NP Singh, Managing Director and CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India has decided to step down after 25 years with the company. He will continue with the company until a successor is found.
NP Singh joined Sony Pictures in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer and later became Chief Operating Officer before assuming the role of MD & CEO in 2014. Before joining Sony Pictures, NP Singh was associated with companies like Modi Xerox, Spice Telecom, Modicorp, and Hindustan Copper Limited.
In a statement, NP Singh said, “After nearly 44 years in my career, including a rewarding 25-year tenure at SPNI, I have decided to move on from my role as MD & CEO. Having reached many significant milestones with our team, I am now ready to focus on social change and shift from operational roles to advisory ones. I am dedicated to ensuring our legacy of success continues and grows under the new leadership.”
He further added “I will continue to lead SPNI until we find the right person to take over. We have begun a structured succession planning process for my successor and hope to have exciting news to share in the near future. Finding the right fit is our top priority.”
