Tata Digital has promoted Mahalakshmi Iyer to Director of Brand Marketing. She previously served as Associate Director of Brand Marketing at the company. Iyer has a strong background in digital marketing, media, public relations, and market research, particularly in the media, entertainment, and e-commerce sectors.
Before joining Tata Digital, Iyer was Head of Marketing at John Jacobs from 2020 to 2022. She also worked as a Strategy and Research Consultant at Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International in 2020 and was Head of Brand Marketing at Bewakoof.com from 2019 to 2020.

Iyer’s earlier roles include leadership positions at Star TV Network from 2015 to 2019. She also worked at General Mills, Infosys, and The Consulting Club and taught at IMS Learning Resources in 2010. She has a Bachelor of Engineering degree, specialising in Electronics & Telecommunication, from Goa Engineering College, Government of Goa, and an MBA in Marketing, Finance and Strategy, from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
