Filing a claim has always been a tedious process, filled with paperwork, evaluations, investigations and a stressful waiting period for it to be approved. Digit Insurance’s latest brand campaign emphasises that their claim approval is just a video proof away.
The ad features Virat Kohli as an uncle (chachu). It shows him and his niece facing an unexpected problem when a mischievous monkey damages their beloved Vespa. Expecting a long and complicated insurance claim process, they contact Digit Insurance’s Customer Happiness team. They are surprised to learn that they just need to upload a video of the damage. They exclaim with delight, “That’s It!” The representative cheerfully responds, “That’s Digit!”
In FY 2023-24, Digit Insurance settled over 1,200 two-wheeler claims caused by monkey damage, marking a 43% year-on-year increase, with payouts exceeding Rs 40 lakh.
