India’s lab-grown diamond brand, Solitario, has completed its ‘Bling Better’ tour aimed at promoting sustainable luxury and celebrate the brand’s one-year anniversary. Co-Founder, Brand Ambassador and well-known Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi led the tour in major cities like Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai.
The tour showcased a mix of eco-friendly craftsmanship and luxury. Oberoi’s popularity, especially in South India due to his film career, helped boost Solitario’s visibility and reach in key markets.
Solitario Lab-Grown Diamonds, which started as a single store in Pune, has now become one of the first Indian jewellery brands to be featured on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Today, it has three boutique stores in Pune and several successful partnerships.
The brand used its popularity in Pune to create a memorable moment during Ganesh Chaturthi. Co-Founder Vivek Oberoi and Ricky Vasandani presented a 66-carat diamond tilak to the famous Shreemant Dagadusheth Halwai Ganpati. This gesture showed the brand’s respect for both cultural and environmental values and made a strong impression on the local community, strengthening its ties with the city.
The tour then moved to Bangalore, where Solitario held a special event for wealthy clients. It gave them a chance to meet the city’s elite and discuss the future of lab-grown diamonds in the luxury market. With a second store recently opened in Bangalore, this event reinforced the city’s importance for the brand’s growth.
The final stop was Chennai, where Solitario hosted a ‘Diamonds and Denim Fashion Show’ at Phoenix Mall, attracting fashion enthusiasts. Vivek Oberoi’s popularity in Southern cinema added star power to the event, strengthening the brand’s presence in this key market.
In the past six months, Solitario has opened three new stores in India and three more abroad, including a main store in Dubai. The brand has also set up its European office in Barcelona and plans to open two more stores in Malaysia.
Ricky Vasandani, Co-Founder & CEO, Solitario, said, “ As we wrap up this tour, we are proud to have grown by nearly 100%, and are looking forward to continuing this trajectory, with expectations of surpassing Rs. 100 crores in the coming fiscal year.
