Adobe has named Lara Balazs as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President. She will report to Adobe’s CEO Shantanu Narayen. She was previously working as the CMO and General Manager of the Strategic Partner Group at Intuit, a financial software and services firm. At Adobe, Balazs will head the Global Marketing Organisation, which includes Adobe.com.
Shantanu Narayen, Chair and CEO of Adobe, welcomed Balazs, praising her experience in B2C and B2B industries and her understanding as a customer of Adobe. He believes her expertise will help engage with Adobe’s growing users more effectively as it expands its reach and impact.

Balazs has previously worked with Amazon, Visa and Nike. She aided the growth of Amazon Prime and Visa globally, helping the latter’s establishment in the digital payments sector with Visa Checkout and Apple Pay. At Intuit, she led the company’s ProTax Group, helping it attain the most sustained growth in years.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law, from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Balazs is passionate about marketing. Her name was included in the Forbes’ list of World’s Most Influential CMOs.
