Pepperfry, the e-commerce furniture and home decor company, has appointed Madhusudan Bihani as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has around 20 years of experience in finance, compliance, taxation, and auditing. His appointment comes at an important stage in the company’s growth.

Bihani joined Pepperfry in 2019 as AVP – Finance and became VP – Finance in 2021. Over six years, he has worked on improving financial discipline, profitability, and compliance systems. He also helped streamline operations and support strategic plans.

As CFO, Bihani will handle corporate strategy, financial planning, fundraising, legal affairs, and corporate governance. His focus will be on improving Pepperfry’s financial operations and supporting its expansion plans.

Ashish Shah, Co-founder and CEO of Pepperfry, stated that Bihani’s expertise will help the company reach it future goals. Bihani said the company’s focus on innovation and strong operations matches his work approach, and he looks forward to working with Ashish and the leadership team to strengthen strategies and growth.

Bihani is a Chartered Accountant. Before Pepperfry, he worked for 10 years at Kraft Heinz. He focused on improving financial systems and ensuring compliance.
