Kristi Argyilan has been named the new Global Head of Advertising for Uber. Previously, she was the Senior Vice President of Retail Media at Albertsons Companies, where she oversaw the growth of the company’s retail media services.
In her LinkedIn post, Argyilan expressed excitement about her new role, describing it as one of the most compelling in advertising. She wrote, “Uber is a company that truly shows the world in action, generating a wealth of activity and buying signals. There’s simply no other similar company that does what Uber can do, at a global scale.”
She also praised the team at Uber for their intellectual approach and kindness, expressing enthusiasm about contributing to the company’s momentum.

Uber began its advertising journey in 2022 and, as of August, reported an annual net revenue rate of $1 billion. With more than ten years of experience in retail media, Argyilan will focus on expanding Uber’s mobility and delivery advertising services globally.
Her career includes roles at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Arnold Worldwide, Universal McCann UM Media Agency, IPG Mediabrands, Target, Roundel, Bed Bath & Beyond, MMA Global, and other notable organisations. She is also a Board Member of Zefr, a technology company that helps advertisers place ads on suitable digital content using AI-driven tools and works with platforms like Google, Facebook, TikTok, and Connected TV.
