India’s foremost disinfectant brand, Lizol has unveiled its latest testing campaign called “ Test What You Trust,” featuring actor Vijay Varma. This challenge aims to test consumer trust in phenyls and provide factual evidence on their germ-killing and cleaning capabilities. By advocating for proactive testing, Lizol urges individuals to prioritize the safety and protection of their families by scrutinizing floor cleaners as thoroughly as other products.
To encourage proactive engagement, Lizol invites consumers to nominate their preferred phenyl brands for scientific testing against Lizol to evaluate germ-killing and cleaning effectiveness. The top 10 nominated phenyls will undergo testing by an independent ISO-certified laboratory, and the results will be published. Participants stand the chance to win weekly bumper prizes, including iPads, refrigerators, and washing machines.
Expressing his thoughts on the campaign collaboration, actor Vijay Varma remarked, “It is exciting to see such confidence and assurance from a brand like Lizol that is focusing its campaign on breaking misconceptions around phenyls a staple in many Indian households. With #TestWhatYouTrust, consumers can put their phenyls to the test, helping India break its flawed perception and make the right choice for their home. For years, Lizol has been a reliable and trusted brand for me and my family, and I encourage everyone to nominate their trusted phenyls and re-evaluate their choice against Lizol.”
Consumers can participate in the challenge by nominating their preferred phenyl brands through the campaign website or by giving a missed call. Nominations will remain open until May 31, 2024, and the final results will be announced by Vijay Varma upon the conclusion of the tests.
Saurabh Jain, Regional Marketing Director, Hygiene, Reckitt – South Asia, said, “Lizol has been at the forefront of protecting families from germs. Consumers often misrelate Phenyls’ strong smell with better germ-killing properties. The #TestWhatYouTrust challenge will help educate consumers on their misplaced trust in phenyls and reiterate the need to adopt Lizol for 99.9% germ-free homes. We are confident about Lizol’s efficacy in germ-killing and cleaning and invite consumers to nominate any phenyl brand they feel can stand the test of science and prove to be superior to a specialist.”
Through this campaign, Lizol aims to position itself as a leading cleaning and disinfectant brand in the market.
