Global nutrition food product company, Danone India has recently announced the appointment of Shashi Ranjan as its Managing Director. In his new role at Danone India, Shashi is responsible for Danone’s Strategic initiatives in India, focusing on expanding the company’s presence, strengthening partnerships, and fostering sustainable growth.

Before joining Danone India, Shashi served as the President & Country Head of Sebamed India. He also held various leadership roles at prominent organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, McKinsey & Company and IBM. He also worked with Government of India from 2000 to 2006.

With over 20 years of experience, Shashi brings a diverse skill set to his new role at Danone India. He possesses expertise in Supply Chain Operations, Business Strategy, P&L Management, Strategic Leadership, Brand Management & Market Research.
