Taking a break during work to unwind and reset is a necessity in this fast-paced world. However, being constantly connected through the omnipresent internet makes it hard to completely disengage from work without a notification, a call or an added task getting in the way. KitKat’s new “Break par sirf break” campaign has Ayushmann Khurrana reminding us to take that well-deserved, uninterrupted break.

The campaign opens with Khurrana taking a seat on a bench at an office park, only to be bombarded with notifications, embodied by a mountain of people, reminding him of one task after another. He breaks off a piece of KitKat and as he takes a bite, all the people and noise vanish as Queen’s famous song ‘I Want to Break Free’ starts playing.

“KitKat has always championed breaks and with this new campaign, we are focusing on the importance of taking good quality breaks with KitKat. Encouraging youth to truly disconnect on their breaks and what better endorsement than Queen’s ‘I Want to Break Free’ song title,” said Rupali Rattan, Director, Confectionery Business, Nestle India.
