The latest ad campaign by Canva India brings together historical figures into the modern world. Named “Dil Se, Dil Tak,” the campaign features 12 short and humorous ad films in which famous personalities use Canva’s tools to tackle everyday problems.
At the “Hysterical Historical Café,” eras and civilisations come together. We see Christopher Columbus using a Magic Eraser to edit photos, the Wright Brothers creating presentations with Magic Design, and a knight crafting a business plan with Magic Media, demonstrating how Canva’s user-friendly tools can make designing fun and easy for everyone!
The campaign, conceptualised in partnership with OML Entertainment, aims to highlight its accessibility. It is designed for large businesses and individuals, including professionals, students, and creators.
Chandrika Deb, Growth and Marketing Lead for Canva India, said, “By blending humour with practicality, our goal is to highlight Canva’s many use-cases as a versatile visual communications platform empowering everyone from individuals to small and large enterprises in India to unleash their creativity.”
Manav Parekh, Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director at Only Much Louder, called his experience a “wild creative ride.” He revealed that their ‘Brands As Creators’ approach allowed them to turn Canva into a storyteller who entertains while connecting with audiences.
