Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) has appointed Shiva Chinnasamy as its Chief Technology and Product Officer. He will work out of the company’s Technology & Innovation Centre in Bengaluru and report to Amit Goenka, President of Digital Business, International Linear Business, Enterprise Technology, and Broadcast Operations. Chinnasamy’s appointment is effective from September 2, 2024.

Chinnasamy will lead TIC’s efforts to enhance data, AI, and machine learning across ZEE’s platforms and improve its customer experience.

Commenting on Chinnsamy’s appointment, Amit Goenka said he believes Chinnasamy’s expertise will drive the company’s next phase of growth.

Chinnasamy said, “I am honoured to join the journey of ZEE at a pivotal intersection between content and technology, as the Company aims to fortify its capabilities in the realm of content distribution and monetisation.”

Having worked with companies like Google, Amazon, and Rippling, Chinnasamy has gained remarkable experience in technology, data science, and analytics. He has a long background in areas like ad tech, eCommerce, fintech, and platform engineering.
