Ajay Ravindran Takes Helm as National Planning Director of FCB Ulka

FCB India’s flagship advertising agency, FCB Ulka, has appointed Ajay Ravindran as the National Planning Director. Ravindran, who specialises in new-age planning and combines storytelling, social media culture, and technology, has almost two decades of experience in advertising, new-age planning, content, media planning, and market research.

Previously, Ravindran served as the head of Brand Marketing for Razorpay where he led several successful and innovative campaigns through the integration of technology, creativity, and storytelling. He has worked for brands like Dell, Titan, TVS, 3M, Unilever, Britannia, Colgate, Vodafone-Idea, and others.

Kulvinder Ahluwalia, CEO of FCB Ulka, commented on the appointment, saying, “His exceptional blend of creativity and strategic insight will play a pivotal role in enhancing our capabilities and driving impactful brand solutions for our clients. We believe his leadership will strengthen our strategic initiatives and inspire our teams to push the boundaries of creativity.”

FCB Ulka was founded in 1961 as Ulka Advertising and became FCB Ulka after being acquired by FCB in 1996. The agency offers advertising, digital marketing, brand strategy, and creative services and works with major brands such as Amul, Tata Motors, and SBI Life Insurance.
