Amit Kumar Verma has been elevated to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Dish TV. According to a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing by the company, his appointment will be effective from October 21, 2024. Verma is succeeding Rajeev Kumar Dalmia, whose superannuation will take place on September 30, 2024. His appointment was approved by the Board of Directors during a meeting that took place on September 18.

Verma has more than 22 years of experience in finance, taxation, compliance and control, fundraising, and treasury management. He has been the company’s Head of Treasury and Taxation since January 2010. Before joining Dish TV, he worked with companies like CNBC TV18, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited, Network 18, and Ray & Ray Chartered Accountants.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Verma has a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has also acquired several certifications, including the International Financial Reporting Standards from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
