Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited (Utkarsh SFB) has onboarded legendary boxer Mary Kom and renowned footballer Sunil Chhetri as its Brand Ambassadors. According to the company’s statement, their ability to connect to people from all walks of life makes them the perfect match for Utkarsh SFB.

Both the brand ambassadors and Utkarsh SFB will be involved in financial literacy campaigns, product launches, branch inaugurations, and social media campaigns promoting inclusion and resilience. Additionally, the Bank will launch a multi-channel campaign through advertisements and social media content, featuring stories of financial empowerment and genuine success, with Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri leading the messages.

Utkarsh SFB seeks to offer financial services to underserved and underserved customer segments with micro-banking loans (JLG loans) through this initiative. It also wishes to cater to other segments with products and services such as Business Loans, Personal Loans, Commercial Vehicle and Equipment Loans (Wheels), MSME Loans, Housing Loans, Loan Against Property, and Credit Cards. Additionally, the Bank offers customers the facility to open a bank account without visiting a branch through a tablet-based application-assisted model, “Digi On-Boarding”.
