PUMA India has just dropped a light-hearted ad film featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan Pataudi, putting the spotlight on their iconic Palermo sneakers—a classic design that oozes football heritage, terrace culture, and a splash of Italian flair.
The film is a burst of colour, starring Ibrahim, along with a line-up of content creators and regional influencers. They’re all seen vibing in bright Palermo sneakers, as the film takes us through the energetic streets of India’s most vibrant cities—Mumbai’s hidden spots, Kolkata’s artistic corners, and Shillong’s scenic lanes.
Joining Ibrahim is Ayesha Kanga, the rising star from Netflix’s ‘Class’ and a major player in the Gen Z fashion scene. Throughout the film, Ayesha sports different colourways of the Palermo collection.
Music composer Achint Thakkar took the lead, creating a retro-inspired tune for the film’s soundtrack, ‘Jeelo’. It captures the playful spirit of ‘60s Bollywood with the pulse of modern street life. Achint is well-known for his work on Scam 1992 and his band Khalasi Trio.
PUMA’s latest film celebrates India’s diverse street style, highlighting self-expression and creating a personal style language that’s as unique as each city.

Sharing his excitement, Ibrahim Ali Khan Pataudi said, “My new ad film with PUMA is right up my alley, capturing everything from streetwear, travel, music and fun banter with friends. It is all about those unfiltered moments of just being yourself, exploring new spots, and letting the city’s energy and character take over. PUMA India has yet again kept it raw and real with this launch, and I can’t wait for everyone to rock the Palermo sneakers and create their memories with them.”
Karthik Balagopalan, Managing Director of PUMA India, said, “Each chosen city in our film brings its unique flavour, and our Palermo in its attractive colourways captures that spirit, making it the ultimate sneaker for anyone looking to incorporate this OG classic into their contemporary wardrobe to express their style!”
