Chetan Jhawar, formerly with Netflix India, has joined Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios as the Lead, Hindi Original Movies. He has over 14 years of experience working in the entertainment industry and is well-known for his creative vision and leadership qualities.

Jhawar announced the move on LinkedIn, writing, “After an unforgettable 5+ years at Netflix India, I’m starting a new chapter with Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios as Lead, Hindi Original Movies. Excited for what’s next and grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey so far. Looking forward to telling new stories.”

Jhawar’s journey with Netflix began in April 2019, and gradually he climbed the ranks to Manager, International Original Film. Before joining Netflix, he was the Senior Producer (Content) at ALTBalaji from 2016 to 2019. He has also worked for companies like Star TV Network, Beyond Dreams Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Leo Burnett.
