Pepperfry has named Shubbam Sharrma as its new Chief Growth Officer. He has over 17 years in retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel, and in his new role, he will lead customer acquisition, market share and operational efficiency. Sharrma will be responsible for the growth of Home Categories by launching fresh collections and expanding Pepperfry’s B2B footprint through initiatives, like the Multi-tiered Channel Partner Program, curated partnerships and products tailored for HORECA.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pepperfry, Ashish Shah, expressed his confidence in Sharrma, due to his grasp on the demands of today’s customers, and his clear vision to elevate Pepperfry as the leader in furniture, mattresses, and home décor.
Sharrma also commented on his new appointments and stated that the organisation aims to use technology and omnichannel strategies to make Pepperfry an even bigger force in home décor. Pepperfry is also looking to support D2C entrepreneurs and build a platform that truly delivers, be it furnishing living rooms or designing an entire office space.

Before Pepperfry, Sharrma was the Chief Business Officer at ImpactGuru. He has also worked for companies such as CarDekho, KSA Technopal, RedSeer and Godrej. He’s got an MBA from IIM Lucknow and a B.Tech from the College of Engineering Roorkee.
