Swiggy Instamart has introduced a wedding store for the current wedding season. The platform has partnered with fashion designer Manish Malhotra to offer designer shagun lifafas.

As part of the launch, an advertisement features Manish Malhotra bringing his design sensibilities to the delivery process. The ad shows a delivery executive with his bike as Malhotra carefully inspects its design. Concluding that the bike needs enhancements, he adds decorative elements to transform it. When Malhotra suggests removing the engine area as part of the redesign, the delivery executive objects. Malhotra then remarks, “He knows he’s delivering a Manish Malhotra, right?”

Hari Kumar G, Chief Business Officer at Swiggy Instamart, mentioned a rise in demand for wedding-related products such as kurtas and makeup. He noted that the collaboration with Malhotra brings an exclusive touch to the wedding store through the shagun lifafas. He said, “This partnership combines convenience with luxury, ensuring that this wedding season, everyone can make an entrance—Manish Malhotra style!”

The shagun lifafa, a modern take on the traditional wedding gift envelope, is one of the main items in the collection. The objective of this collaboration is to improve the wedding shopping experience by combining designer products with Swiggy Instamart’s quick delivery service.
